Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda along with Bahadurgarh MLA Rajender Singh Joon visited the Tikri border on Friday and inspected arrangements of potable water, food, cleanliness and toilets. He interacted with farmers from Punjab and Haryana camping there since November 26 to get their feedback in this regard.
Deepender expressed concern over the death of some protesting farmers at the Delhi border and held the BJP government responsible for that.
He said following the directives of former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Congress legislators would give a relief of Rs 2 lakh to kin of the deceased farmers.
Deepender urged the government to accept their demands without further delay.
