Delhi police win final match of 2nd All India T-20 cricket tourney in Karnal

The Second All India T-20 Cricket Tournament (North Zone 2025-26) concluded at the cricket ground in Sector-9 on Thursday. The final match was played between RPF and Delhi police. Delhi police won the title in a one-sided match.

Delhi Police won the toss and opted to bowl first. RPF batted first but were restricted to 137 runs. Chasing a target of 138, Delhi Police delivered a dominant performance and won in just 14.5 overs, losing only one wicket.

Delhi Police batsman Manish Dhillon played a spectacular inning, scoring 63 runs off 41 balls, including five boundaries and three sixes. For his match-winning knock, he was adjudged ‘Man of the Match’. He was also declared the ‘best batsman’.

Suraj Dhaka of Delhi Police was declared the ‘best bowler’ of the tournament for his impressive performance. RPF player Anant Vaibhav Tomar was honoured with the ‘man of the tournament’ award for his all-round performance.

The closing ceremony was graced by Organizing Co-Secretary and Deputy Inspector General, Virender Vij, Vinod Kumar, IPS, Commandant-cum-Secretary Haryana Police Sports, 5th Battalion, Madhuban.

The chief guest presented trophies to the winning and runner-up teams and appreciated the players for their discipline and exemplary sportsmanship.
