Drugs worth crores destroyed in Palwal
The police destroyed over 2,200 kg of narcotics material seized from drug peddlers in separate operations in Palwal and Faridabad.
In Palwal, 1,420.65 kg of narcotics, including 608.22 kgs of Poppy Husk, 631.65 kgs of Ganja, 786 grams of Smack, 349 pills, 1,536 capsules, 186 injections, and 1,260 bottles of liquor, were disposed of at a specialized facility in Gurugram. The total value of the destroyed narcotics is estimated to be around Rs 3 crore. IG Southern Range Ashok Kumar and SP Palwal were present to inspect the disposal.
Meanwhile, in Faridabad, the police disposed of 415 kg of narcotics, including 381 kgs of Ganja, 34 kg of Doda Post, 282 gram of Charas, 17.35 gram of Heroin, 162 injections, and 34 capsules.
This disposal took place at the Golden Eagle Waste Management Company in Tigaon as part of the routine exercise. These actions were part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
