Teams of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided different premises of Rohtak-based industrialist and philanthropist Rajesh Jain on Thursday.

As per police sources, the ED teams raided Jain's industrial unit LPS Bossard near Kharawar bypass in Rohtak, his residence in Sector 1 and his brother's house in Bharat Colony.

However, the purpose of the raids or the material confiscated therein were not revealed by the members of the raiding teams.

The officials involved in the raids did not speak to the reporters, nor did they divulge any details.

The local police authorities also denied having any knowledge about the raids.

"We do not have any information about the raids conducted by the Enforcement Directorate in Rohtak today," said district police spokesman Sunny Laura.

Jain, a prominent industrialist of the region, is also a noted philanthropist and social figure.
