Chandigarh, September 13
The Department of Higher Education, Haryana, has completed the admission process for all undergraduate courses, including BA/BSc/BCom (General and honours), for the 2021-22 academic session through the centralised admission portal, developed by the state NIC.
Sharing more details in this regard, the department spokesperson said, “In all, 1,96,764 students have registered on the admission portal out of which 1,78,534 have completed their application forms. The number of students, who have registered using their family IDs (Parivar Pehchaan Patra) is 1,78,702. All data is automated.”
The admissions for undergraduate courses are completely online. However, students have been given the option to pay fee through online and offline mode.
A provisional merit list was released on September 11 in which some technical glitches were noticed.
The first finalised merit list was released on September 12. According to this list, 1,12,353 students got seats in undergraduate courses. This list is valid up to September 18.
The second merit list will be released on September 21. Students not admitted to any course after the release of the second merit list can attend open counselling for remaining seats starting from September 28.
The Government College, Hisar, has highest cut-off for arts, commerce, BSc (Non medical) and BSc (Medical).
