A national seminar on ‘Emerging Trends and Frontiers in Physical Sciences’ was organised by the Physical Science Department, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell at Government PG College for Women, Rohtak. The conference aimed to encourage discussions on new research in science, technological advancements and their practical applications.

Principal Dr Shamsher Hooda, while addressing the inaugural session, highlighted the importance of physical science. “Science not only develops scientific thinking but also strengthens decision-making abilities in every aspect of life,” he added.

Chief Guest Dr Santosh Hooda, in her address, said science is the foundation of technology, engineering, economics and the solution to problems in daily life. She encouraged teachers to guide students about the latest research and technology in the field of higher education.

Keynote speaker Prof Rajesh Punia from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, motivated students and researchers to remain curious about research, embrace innovation and utilise the applications of science for the benefit of society.
