Narnaul/Rewari, February 7

The Employment Department organised a programme at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Narnaul on the last day of the Vocational Guidance Week, which was observed from February 2 to 6. District Employment Officer Ranjit Singh Rawat educated and advised the students on career choices. He said about 824 applicants had been counselled at various schools, colleges and ITIs in the district during the week.

Industrial Extension Officer Ajay Yadav shared information with students on employment opportunities and government financial services. HR Sabharwal, Director, PNB Rural Self-Employment Training Institute, informed the children about the department’s self-employment training programme. ITI principal Vinod Kumar Khanagwal thanked the officers for their initiative.

Rewari District Employment Office marked the week by guiding students about self-employment opportunities and advertising job vacancies. Assistant District Employment Officer Dinesh Tanwar said vocational guidance was offered to students at Government ITI and Women’s College in Rewari, Government Polytechnic Institute in Lisana, Government Senior Secondary School in Bikaner and Government ITIs in Saharanwas and Kund.

Additionally, Assistant Employment Officer Kosli guided students of Government Senior Secondary School, Government ITI and Government College in Kosli. Nearly 950 students received personalised advice about setting their professional goals and navigating their careers during the week. Students were given information about vacanicies, self-employment and online registration to explore opportunities.
