A lecture on “Language Teaching and Communication Skills: Indian Knowledge System Approach” was organised at Markanda National College, Shahabad, on Saturday.

The event aimed to highlight the relevance of traditional Indian knowledge frameworks in modern language teaching and communication practices.

Keynote speaker Dr Rajneesh Arora, Director of the English and Foreign Language University (Lucknow campus), emphasised the integration of Indian Knowledge Systems with contemporary pedagogical methods to enhance linguistic competence and effective communication among students.

College Principal Dr Ashok Kumar encouraged students to adopt innovative learning approaches rooted in Indian traditions.

Around 130 students attended the lecture. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer round, making it an engaging and informative experience for all participants.
