Leaders announced that under the banner of SKM, a major state-level protest will be held in Hisar on November 26 to mark the fifth anniversary of the historic Delhi farmers’ movement. “All organisations of the morcha will participate with full strength,” said Mann.

Participants shared their suggestions and it was unanimously decided to ensure the success of the protest. Farmers and labourers across the state were urged to join in large numbers. Organisations unable to travel to Hisar will stage district-level demonstrations and submit memorandums to their respective Deputy Commissioners.

Mann said farmers were highly enthusiastic about the upcoming protest. “Lakhs of farmers and labourers will march to Hisar across the state on the fifth anniversary of the Delhi movement,” he said. He maintained that farmers remain angry because “even after five years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not fulfilled his promises made during the agitation”. Mann appealed to farmers and workers to participate in maximum numbers.

Leaders demanded compensation for Kharif 2025 crops damaged due to heavy rain, flooding, waterlogging and virus infection, along with compensation for the economic and human losses caused by floods. They said flood-damaged roads (pending since 2023) should be rebuilt and demanded a special budget and permanent water-drainage solutions for villages facing waterlogging, including a master plan for floodplain regions.

Mann and others sought an investigation into the alleged looting of farmers during paddy procurement, compensation and bonuses for farmers who did not receive MSP and an increase in the moisture limit for paddy procurement from 17 per cent to 22 per cent.

They demanded that the government remove the portal system and online registration for fertiliser distribution, ensure adequate supply by curbing black marketing and take strict action against vendors allegedly forcing farmers to buy nano urea or other products with fertilisers.

The farmer leaders also reiterated their demand for a High Court judge to inquire into the alleged paddy scam in Haryana.
