Fatehabad police tighten security for Holi
To enhance security, 30 rider teams, 18 Emergency Response Vehicles and 10 PCR vehicles will patrol streets
Fatehabad Police have made extensive security arrangements to ensure the peaceful celebration of Holi. A special security plan has been implemented across the district to maintain law and order and prevent any disruptions during the festival.
Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain issued a stern warning that strict legal action would be taken against those who cause trouble under the guise of the festival, such as forcibly applying colours, driving under the influence of alcohol, or creating disturbances. There will be no leniency in such matters.
To maintain law and order, approximately 700 police personnel have been deployed under the supervision of DSP-level officers. Thirty special checkpoints have been set up in both urban and rural areas, where drivers will be tested using alcohol sensors. A special campaign will also be carried out against drunk driving.
To enhance security, 30 rider teams, 18 Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) and 10 PCR vehicles will patrol the streets. Real-time coordination between police stations and patrol teams has been arranged through the control room to ensure a quick response in case of any emergency.
