Fillip to Dushyant, office-bearers in Karnal join him

Giving a jolt to the INLD in Karnal district, former Gharaunda MLA Narinder Sangwan and INLD general secretary Brij Sharma, along with other office-bearers, resigned from their post and the primary membership of the party to join Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala’s camp on Sunday.

At a meeting in Jat Dharamshala, Brij Sharma, who has been appointed district convener for the December 9 rally in Jind of Dushyant, said the party workers of the district had faith in Ajay and Dushyant Chautala. Youths were full of enthusiasm for Dushyant. “I have resigned from my primary membership of the party and have joined the camp of Dushyant,” said Sharma.

Sangwan said he was also an active member of the Ajay Chautala team and now he, along with his supporters, had resigned from the INLD. “We have waited a lot for the resolution of the family dispute so that the workers could remain together, but all efforts went in vain,” said Sangwan.

Former MLA Nafe Singh Valmiki, INLD district spokesman Harpal Ror, Indri block president Gurdev Ramba, Nilokheri block president Inderjeet Goraya, youth president Amandeep Chawla are among the leaders who resigned. — TNS
