INLD candidate backs Congress
Sonepat: INLD’s Rai candidate Inderjit Dahiya has announced to support Congress’ Jai Tirath Dahiya. Inderjit announced his support at a meeting in Rai on Friday. “The Dahiya khap, which wields influence in 24 villages of the segment, asked me to support Jai Tirath to avoid division of vote,” Inderjit said. But speculation is rife that in return for support, Jai Tirath will withdraw his plea from the HC against Inderjit. Jai Tirath had filed an appeal, alleging bogus polling in the 2014 elections in booths set up in Inderjit’s native village. OC
