Four persons, including a textile designer, were robbed of a car, cash and valuables in Sector 25 here on Friday night.

Arun of Bhatia Colony told the police that he, along with his three friends — Sanjay of Sewah, Ranbir of Atta village and Mukesh of Krishanpura — came out of a hotel after having dinner and were standing near their car. He said four miscreants came on a motorcycle and started abusing them. As they opposed, the suspects attacked them with an iron road, he added.

According to Arun, the suspects took away a costly watch, Rs 4,500 and a mobile phone from Ranbir. He said, “The miscreants also took away his white Tata Tiago. Besides, they also decamped with a laptop bag and a purse that contained documents, Rs 6,000 and an ATM card. There were Rs 23,000 in the laptop bag,” said Arun. A case has been registered against unidentified persons.
