Gang applauds Faridabad jail inmate for killing terror plot accused
Says 'service to nation' in social media post
Amidst the investigation in connection with the murder of Ram mandir terror plot accused, Abdul Rehman, in jail, Rohit Godara gang has lauded the accused inmate, Arun Chaudhary, for ‘service to nation’.
Mahendra Delana, a key gang member, took to social media to announce support for Chaudhary. The post warns that anyone involved in anti-national activities will face this fate. "Whoever goes against the country will face this fate. Jai Shri Ram, Ram Ram to all brothers. I, Mahendra Delana (Rohit Godara group), want to inform you, brothers, that Abdul Rehman was killed in Faridabad jail. He was a terrorist and was involved in the conspiracy to attack the Ram Temple," the post read. He further added, “When he was apprehended in Faridabad, two grenades were found on him, and he has been involved in numerous terrorist activities against the country. Brother Arun Chaudhary has brought him to justice. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts. This is the fate of anyone who acts against our country. Our heartfelt salute to brother Arun Chaudhary”.
The Faridabad police is now investigating the role of the gang in the murder. The investigation has so far revealed that Chaudhary killed Rehman by hitting him on the head with a sharp stone during an argument over the temple. Abdul was sleeping at the time of the murder.
When he screamed after being hit, Shoaib Riaz, a third inmate in the security barrack, also woke up. At that time, Chaudhary was repeatedly attacking Rehman, and Riaz raised the alarm. Rehman was taken to the jail hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The three had been brought to the security barrack 15 days ago. For 10 days, they had been arguing over religion. The police have filed a murder case against Chaudhary, who was reportedly also involved in the murder of Akshay Sharma in Jammu district. Four accused, including Chaudhary, were involved in the gang war.
