Gurugram: Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, paid a visit to Gurugram University on Tuesday. Governor and Chancellor Bandaru Dattatreya also launched the research journal "Gurugram University business review" and inaugurated the digital e-library. In his address, he praised the university's work in education and research, as well as the 15 new courses starting this session, and stated that the university had maintained a high standard of quality, enhancing its reputation in the field of higher education. VC Prof Dinesh Kumar informed the Governor of the university's activities and achievements through a presentation and also informed them about 15 new employable courses beginning in the upcoming session 2022-23.
MDU issues notification for admissions
Rohtak: Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) has issued admission notice for various three year, four year, five year and six-year integrated academic programme for the session 2022-2023. MDU Registrar Prof Gulshan Lal Taneja said all these academic programmes were meant for students who had passed Class XII examination. These programmes are available in the university teaching departments as well as MDU- Centre for Professional & Allied Studies (Gurugram). Online applications for these programmes can be submitted till July 22 on the university portal. Details of the academic programmes, and all related information is available on the MDU website www.mdu.ac.in.
Media students’ interactive session
Faridabad: The Department of Communication and Media Technology (CMT) of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, in collaboration with JP Pictures today organiSed "Grand live streaming and interactive session" with the cast of web-series 'Jholachhap', based on the story of quack doctors. The web-series featured renowned bollywood artistes such as Mehak Manwani, Chittaranjan Tripathy and Mushtaq Khan and it was produced by Jyoti Prakash. Dean (FLMAS) prof Atul Mishra and chairperson of the Department of CMT Dr Pawan Singh Malik were also present on the occasion.
blood donors honoured at KcGMC
Karnal: Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College (KCGMC) honoured voluntary blood donors and the orgaisations holding blood donation camps. The HoD of Forensic Medicine, Dr Vijaypal Khanagwal, was the chief guest, who honoured donors and organisations. He exhorted them to motivate people to donate blood. Dr Sachin Garg, blood bank in-charge, also highlighted the contribution of donors and social organisations.
