Rohtak, March 1

A Gurugram-based businessman was gunned down by assailants near Lakhan Majra town in Rohtak district on Thursday night.

The deceased, identified as Sachin, with his family, was going to Sangrur in Punjab to attend a wedding. They had stopped at a restaurant on the way.

Assailants arrived there in a car and opened fire at Sachin.

Sachin’s mother, Darshana, was injured in the attack as she tried to save her son.

The police have registered a case.

The injured woman has been admitted at the local PGIMS.

The body has been sent for post-mortem.
