Haryana Chamber of Commerce organises MSME awareness programme in Yamunanagar

Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry organises MSME awareness programme in Yamunanagar.

The Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), Yamunanagar Chapter, in collaboration with SIDBI DIA (Development of Industry Associations) and BSE Ltd, organized an awareness session on “SME IPOs, MSME Exports, and SIDBI Schemes” in Yamunanagar.

The programme was conducted by Sumeet Gupta, General Secretary, HCCI Yamunanagar, who welcomed all the dignitaries, outlined the objectives of the seminar, and introduced the speakers.

The programme was chaired by Rajesh Sondhi, President, HCCI Yamunanagar. In his presidential address, Rajesh Sondhi said that Yamunanagar had a strong industrial base, and such awareness programmes provided new direction to local industries. He emphasized that MSMEs should adopt modern financial instruments, explore export opportunities, and embrace digital processes to remain competitive at national and global levels.

Raj Chawla, State General Secretary, HCCI Haryana, said that HCCI was continuously working towards strengthening industries across the state. He added that such awareness sessions provide new knowledge, opportunities, and direction to entrepreneurs, thereby contributing to the overall economic development of the region.

VP Singh, Joint Director, MSME, said that the MSME sector was the backbone of the Indian economy and that the government was continuously introducing new schemes to empower this sector. He urged entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the available schemes and integrate their businesses into the formal economy.

Representing SIDBI, Sandeep Singh, AGM (Karnal), and Alok Kumar, AGM (Yamunanagar), jointly said that SIDBI was providing easy and structured financial support to small and medium enterprises. They highlighted the importance of proper documentation, sound business planning, and transparent financial records for securing better loan facilities. They also assured that SIDBI would continue to conduct awareness programmes in collaboration with local industries.

Sumit Saxena, AVP, BSE Ltd., provided detailed insights into SME IPOs, describing them as a powerful mechanism for MSMEs to raise capital. He explained that listing not only helped companies access funds but also enhanced their credibility and expanded market reach.

Tarun Gautam from Walmart Vriddhi explained how Indian businesses could collaborate with Walmart Vriddhi to scale their operations and expand exports. He highlighted that Walmart Vriddhi assisted MSMEs in identifying new international customers and export opportunities.

Ritik Tripathi, Assistant Manager, SIDBI, delivered a comprehensive presentation on various SIDBI schemes.

The programme concluded with a commitment to industrial growth, employment generation, and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).
