Tosham in Bhiwani district will be upgraded to the status of a municipality, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said here today.
The Chief Minister said this while addressing representatives of the business cell who came to meet him at his residence here.
Khattar said if Tosham residents sent a resolution passed by the gram sabha, then within a month, Tosham would be given the status of a municipality.
The Chief Minister said the amount deposited by the traders with the government in the form of tax was spent on development works and public welfare schemes.
