A meeting of the executive committee of the Haryana Judges Association held here today discussed several issues concerning judicial service and prepared a roadmap for addressing the collective concerns of judicial officers in the state.
Sher Singh, secretary of the association, said that the meeting deliberated on various service-related matters, including promotion of judicial officers, establishment of a housing society for judicial officers, abolition of the department examination for judicial officers and enhancement of the retirement age of judicial officers.
It was unanimously decided that these matters would be raised at various appropriate forums through the association in order to strengthen the justice delivery system and improve the service conditions of judicial officers.
The meeting was chaired by the president of the association, Ajay Tewatia, while joint secretary Rajvinder Singh, treasurer Rishabh Agarwal and executive committee members Parikshit and Munish Chaudhary were present on the occasion.
