Chandigarh, July 31
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has placed under suspension the services of Additional District and Sessions Judge Raj Kumar Jain, who served as the presiding officer of Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court in Rohtak.

The suspension, effective immediately, follows a series of news reports published in the newspaper against him on February 6, 16, and 22 in 2019. During the suspension period, Judge Jain’s headquarters will be in Rohtak, and he is prohibited from leaving without prior permission from the Rohtak District and Sessions Judge.

The order was issued by Registrar General on behalf of the Chief Justice and judges of the high court.
