Haryana: Kaithal police add 10 new emergency response vehicles to fleet
The new Dial-112 rider vehicles, received from the Haryana DGP Office, have been deployed to various police stations and police posts across Kaithal district
In a major step towards strengthening the emergency response system and ensuring faster assistance to citizens, as many as 10 new Dial-112 rider vehicles have been included in the fleet of the Kaithal police.
These two-wheelers were flagged off on Tuesday by Superintendent of Police (SP) Manpreet Singh Sudan from the Mini Secretariat premises.
The new vehicles, received from the Haryana DGP Office, have been deployed to various police stations and police posts across the district.
Speaking at this occasion, SP Sudan said the new rider vehicles would significantly strengthen the district's emergency response system.
He explained that police emergency response vehicles often face difficulties reaching incidents in congested markets, narrow streets, and densely populated localities.
The newly inducted two-wheelers will enable police personnel to navigate such areas quickly and reach the scene within minutes.
The rider vehicles have been integrated with the Dial-112 emergency service network. As soon as a distress call is received at the control room, the nearest rider will be alerted through GPS-enabled location tracking and dispatched immediately to the spot.
He further said that the initiative would not only help curb criminal and anti-social activities more effectively but also enhance public confidence in the police by ensuring timely assistance during emergencies.
He emphasised that a quick response can often make a crucial difference in preventing crimes and saving lives.
Directing the police personnel assigned to the new vehicles, SP Sudan asked them to perform their duties with dedication, alertness and sensitivity. He also instructed them to maintain a courteous and helpful attitude while interacting with the public.
