Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday released the second list of candidates for the 10 assembly constituencies for the Haryana Assembly election which will be held on October 21.

Consequent to announcement of second list, the party has so far declared names of candidates for 22 out of a total of 90 assembly seats in the state. A few days ago it had announced names of candidates for 12 constituencies.

Salient feature of the today’s list is that all the candidates bar Gurdev Singh Sura, who had joined the party last year, have been associated with AAP for long. Sura is the candidate from Ladwa.

The other candidates who figure in the today’s list are Ranbir Singh Rathee (Gurugram) and Anshul Kumar Aggarwal (Ambala-City). While Rathee is party’s spokesperson, Aggarwal is a businessman and youth leader of the area.

Sandeep Laura-Narnaund; Anup Singh Chanaut-Barwala; Pawan Hindustani-Tosham; Kuldeep Kaushik- Palwal; Santosh Yadav-Faridabad (NIT) and Kumari Sumanlata Vashisth-Faridabad and Yogeshwar Sharma-Panchkula are the other candidates.

The first list was candidates for Assandh, Julana, Fatehabad, Uklana, Hansi, Garhi Sampla Kiloi, Bahadurgarh, Beri, Mahendegarh, Hodal, Badkhal, Ballabgarh.

Releasing the names today, the AAP Rajya Sabha MP and incharge of Haryana Affairs Sushil Gupta said: “AAP will put up nominees at all the constituencies, but will not compromise on the issue of integrity and record of candidates.”

“The party could forego some seats if it was not satisfied with antecedents of applicants,” Gupta added.

Responding to queries, Gupta said AAP has already launched its election campaign and was getting good response from the public.

“AAP has been the first to have started the process of releasing names of its candidates. The next list of names is almost ready and will be announced shortly,” said Gupta.
