KARNAL: The last meeting of the Karnal Municipal Corporation (MC) on Wednesday witnessed heated exchanges between BJP and Opposition councillors over the issue of development.

The last meeting of the Karnal Municipal Corporation (MC) on Wednesday witnessed heated exchanges between BJP and Opposition councillors over the issue of development.

The meeting was chaired by Mayor Renu Bala Gupta. As many as 18 agendas, mostly related to development works, were passed by the House.

Gupta counted the achievements of the House in the last five years and thanked members of the House for cooperation in development of the city. “I am grateful to all members of the House, officials and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for the support in the development of the city,” said the Mayor.
