The long-standing demand of students seeking migration from a private nursing college at Kagsar village, following allegations of harassment against the college owner, staged a protest today. They said they would hold a protest at the residence of the BJP MLA from Hansi segment, Vinod Bhayana, tomorrow in support of their demand.

The students expressed anger over the failure of the authorities to shift them to other colleges. They claimed that the MLA had assured them that he would ensure they got migration certificates.

The students said representatives of khaps and farmer leaders would join their protest. Recently, the bail application of college chairman Jagdish Goswami was rejected by the Hisar Sessions Court. He is currently lodged in judicial custody in a case related to alleged sexual harassment of students.
