HPSC officials review prelims readiness in Yamunanagar

Member of Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) Rajender Kumar and Deputy Secretary Satish Kumar held a meeting with Centre Superintendents and other officials at the District Secretariat, Yamunanagar, regarding the preparations for the HCS preliminary examination-2025 to be held in Yamunanagar by HPSC on April 26.

Kumar said the preliminary examination-2025 of HCS (Ex Br) and other related services would be held on April 26, 2026, in the morning and evening sessions. At the meeting, he said this exam would decide the future of youths and the responsibilities they would take up as officers so there should be no negligence in the work related to the exam.

“The examination work should be completed as per the government instructions. When the exam starts, no person will be allowed to enter the examination center without an identity card. The officials should read and understand the instructions issued by the government regarding the exam thoroughly so that they do not have to face any kind of problem during the exam,” said Rajender Kumar.

Satish Kumar, Deputy Secretary of the HPSC, said conducting the HCS preliminary examination 2025 was a crucial government undertaking, determining the future of young people. He said ID cards would be issued to officials on duty at the examination centres and all officials must wear the Commission-issued ID cards around their necks during the examination.

He further said no official or candidate would be permitted to carry mobile phones inside the examination centre. He instructed the officials involved in the examination duty to work as a team and ensure that the electricity, water, biometric machines, CCTV cameras, cleanliness of the toilets and the proper condition of the windows and doors were checked.

“If the centre superintendents encounter any problem, they should immediately contact their senior officers,” said Satish Kumar.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Naveen Ahuja, DSP Kanwaljit Singh, District Education Officer Prem Lata, Deputy DEO Shiv Kumar Dhiman and other officers were present at the meeting.
