Panipat, November 6
Teams of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) conducted a check on industries, including dyeing units and blanket and bedsheet manufacturing units, on Monday.
Members of dyers’ association, however, raised question on the action.
The HSPCB had served notices on around 550 industrial units in the city, asking owners to shut their units from November 4 to 10.
Bhupender Singh Chahal, Regional Officer, HSPCB said, no factory was found violating norms. — TNS
