Rohtak, September 30

A team of the District Town Planner on Wednesday demolished two illegal structures and 28 damp-proof courses in two unauthorised colonies developed near the outer bypass on Ladhaut Road and Rohtak-Hisar Road here.

Rohtak District Town Planner Mandeep Singh Sihag said the land owners were served two notices asking them to demolish the illegal structures and damp-proof courses on their own, but they failed to do so hence the demolition drive was carried out.

“The sewerage system and electric poles installed in the colonies have also been uprooted, while an FIR has also been recommended against the land owners,” the District Town Planner added.
