Giving citizens access to quality healthcare govt’s top priority: Arti Singh Rao
PHC Bharawas (Rewari) receives in-principle approval for upgrade to CHC
Health Minister Arti Singh Rao recently said ensuring access to high-quality, affordable healthcare services near the homes of citizens is the priority of the state government.
Rao said the state had made progress towards this objective by granting in-principle approval for the upgrade of the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Bharawas in Rewari district into a Community Health Centre (CHC).
Following the upgrade, the centre will be equipped with specialist doctors, advanced diagnostic services, emergency medical care, increased bed capacity, and modern medical equipment. Thousands of residents of Bharawas and its neighbouring villages, especially women, children, and senior citizens, will greatly benefit from the improved facilities and timely medical assistance.
Rao added the state is committed to strengthening its healthcare infrastructure and provide every citizen of the state access to quality healthcare by eliminating financial and geographical barriers.
