Gurugram: The Gurugram cyber police have arrested a man accused of cheating people by befriending them on Facebook. A mobile phone and two SIM cards were recovered from his possession. According to Priyanshu Dewan, ACP Cyber, the accused has been identified as Satish Suthar. He was arrested by the Cyber Crime East police team on Thursday. “It was revealed that the accused would befriend people on Facebook and mentally harass them, demanding money, which he would fraudulently transfer to his bank account. After receiving the money, he would block their mobile numbers. OC
One held with drug capsules
Gurugram:The Nuh police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 19,200 capsules packed in 80 boxes from his possession. An FIR was registered at the Sadar Nuh police station. The accused was identified as Mustaffa. He was arrested by the CIA, Nuh team, from Adbar Chowk on Friday. OC
Man duped of ~54 lakh
Gurugram: A Sector 46 resident was duped of Rs 54 lakh the accused in the name of the victim getting offered to open three franchises of Adani Health Ventures Ltd (AHVL). An FIR was registered at the Bilaspur police station. According to the victim, Shashi Sinha and Soumyajit Ganguly contacted him as representatives of the AHVL and offered to open three pharma franchises on behalf of the company. OC
