Industrial township to boost growth in Tosham: MP Kiran Chaudhary
Move to open new avenues of development in nearby areas, including Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Hisar and Hansi districts
Hailing the announcement to set up an Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Tosham region of Bhiwani district, Rajya Sabha MP Kiran Chaudhary said it would accelerate growth and development as well as open new job avenues in the region.
In a statement, Chaudhary said, “The government has taken a historic decision. This move will open new avenues of development in nearby areas, including Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Hisar and Hansi districts. Educated and skilled youth will get employment opportunities,” she said.
Expressing gratitude to CM Saini, she also gave credit to the Haryana Irrigation and Water Resources, Women and Child Development Minister and her daughter Shruti Chaudhary, stating that it would address the shortage of employment in the industrial sector. “This is the first IMT being established in a rural area like Tosham. Farmers whose land will be acquired for the IMT will receive compensation at double the collector rate,” she said.
Chaudhary said that Haryana Minister Shruti, who is also BJP MLA from Tosham, has been consistently working for the development of the region. “She has raised the issues of farmers and youth from time to time and is leaving no stone unturned to fulfil the dreams of former Chief Minister Chaudhary Bansi Lal,” she said.
Chaudhary said canals and watercourses built during Bansi Lal’s tenure were being renovated, helping modernise the agricultural system.
