Haryana's Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana inspects Yamunanagar district’s grain markets

Haryana's Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana inspected Saraswati Nagar and Radaur grain market of Yamunanagar district to take stock of the wheat arrival, lifting work and other facilities.

He gave instructions to the officials of the market committees and the officials of the procurement agencies.

He instructed the officials of the concerned wheat procurement agencies to lift the wheat purchased from the market soon. He assured the farmers that every grain of their crop would be purchased at MSP and they would not face any problem in selling the crop.

“Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini is very serious about the wheat procurement and as per the instructions of the Chief Minister, the ministers and MLAs of the state are also continuously inspecting the grain markets to solve the problems of the farmers, related to portal or other problem in selling their crop,” said Minister Rana.

He said he went to the heaps of wheat brought to the grain market and checked the moisture through the machine and found that wheat procurement operations were proceeding smoothly in all grain markets across the state.

“To avoid any challenge in lifting operations due to the high inflow of wheat, I issued strict instructions to the concerned officials to expedite the wheat lifting process, so that farmers do not have to face any problem in depositing their produce in the premises of grain markets,” said Minister Rana.

He also urged the farmers and commission agents to resolve the problem of crop lifting through mutual cooperation and coordination with the administration.

Chairman of Market Committee Jaswinder Saini Amli, DFSC Nitish Singla, Naib Tehsildar Sandeep Sharma, BDPO Shyam Lal Sharma and other officers were present in Saraswati Nagar grain market.
