The RSS chief, Dr Mohan Bhagwat, today called upon swayamsevaks to introspect and become more cautious, as people are viewing the Sangh more closely.
Bhagwat is on a two-day visit to Haryana. He addressed the swayamsevaks at ‘Dwinagar Tarun Swayamsevak Ekatrrikan’ organised at Police DAV School ground. Nearly 1,000 swayamsevaks from Ambala attended the event.
He said the RSS had changed its circumstances and not its directions over the 100 years of its journey and that is why it was gaining the trust of society. It took 100 years to establish the Sangh. The volunteers had to carry on the work under very difficult circumstances.
He explained what a person should focus on while fulfilling their work and objectives, so that the results were beneficial not only for themselves but also for society and the nation.
He said the growing scale of the Sangh’s programmes was a positive sign, reflecting both society’s support and the dedication of its members.
However, he stressed the need for continuous introspection. “We need to be even more cautious now. As the organisation grows, greater caution is required, since people are now observing and evaluating it more closely,” he stated.
This, he said, was a result of the Sangh’s distinct methodology, values, and cultural practices developed over the past century.
