Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta said police personnel would be deployed on the main and other routes.

He said kanwarias should carry their Aadhaar or any other identity card and height of sound system and tableau should not be more than 10 feet. “Kanwarias on two-wheelers should not remove their silencers as it causes inconvenience to commuters,” said Gupta.

He said kanwarias coming from Radaur or Ambala district should use the bypass.

“The Regional Transport Authority and Traffic Police will ensure availability of 10 cranes,” said the DC. He said those planning to set up camps for kanwarias must take permission from the SDM concerned and follow all guidelines.
