Karnal Civil Hospital gets facelift

The emergency wards of the trauma centre and the labour room in the Karnal Civil Hospital have been partitioned with curtains to ensure privacy and prevent the spread of infections.

  • The emergency wards of the trauma centre and the labour room in the Karnal Civil Hospital have been partitioned with curtains to ensure privacy and prevent the spread of infections.
  • Dr Piyush Sharma, Principal Medical Officer, said a unique look had been given to all emergency wards. More beds have been added to crowded wards. 
  • Dr Ravinder Sandhu, Additional Senior Medical Officer, Civil Hospital, said a triage protocol had been implemented at the trauma centre to ensure timely treatment to critical patients. Flex boards with colour marking had also been installed.
