Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday inspected cleanliness in the city and issued directions to the district administration and municipal corporation to ensure cleanliness

He told officials concerned that the city should be cleaned before 8 am everyday. He reached Panipat on Monday night and stayed at a Haryana Tourism resort

He conducted a surprise visit to check cleanliness. During his visit, he found heaps of garbage on the roadside. He visited drain number one adjoining the PWD rest house and ordered its cleaning

He directed DC Sumedha Kataria and Municipal Commissioner Priyanka Soni to start night cleaning so that people could find roads clean in the morning.
