Chandigarh, September 10

Setting a new tradition in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today announced several development works for the Jind Assembly constituency on the basis of demands that were set to be raised by the late INLD MLA, Hari Chand Midha, who passed away recently.

Speaking during Question Hour on the second day of the session, Khattar said fulfilling the demands of Midha’s area would be the real tribute to him. Nine questions of Midha (eight starred and one un-starred) were lined up for the session.

Khattar announced three new roads for Midha’s constituency and said the work for setting up of a 132-KV sub-station in Sector 9 would be completed by December. “Though there is no proposal to upgrade the Government Girls High School at Barsola village, we have decided to upgrade it as a tribute to Midha,” he said. — TNS
