Like in Delhi, people of Punjab will soon oust AAP-da: Haryana CM
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday said like Delhi voters, those of Punjab will also soon oust “AAP-da from power.”
Addressing mediapersons in Delhi’s Haryana Bhavan, Saini said Yamuna would become Delhi’s top tourist destination under the BJP rule.
Taking a dig at AAP chief and former CM Arvind Kejriwal for levelling false allegations about Yamuna pollution on BJP-ruled Haryana, Saini said the voters of Delhi had given a befitting reply.
“Just like Delhi, the voters of Punjab will also oust AAP-da (disaster) party,” Saini said adding that the BJP would win local body elections in Haryana also and took every election very seriously.
On the Yamuna cleaning, Saini attacked Kejriwal for making false promises to the people of Delhi.
“Delhi will now progress alongside a Viksit Bharat. The Yamuna riverfront will be beautified to such an extent that people will prefer visiting it over Kartavya Path and India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has committed to cleaning and beautifying the Yamuna, and extensive work will be carried out at a fast pace to eliminate pollution,” he said hailing Delhi for endorsing Prime Minister’s guarantees.
“Now, PM Modi’s policies will be implemented in Delhi, ensuring that people benefit from welfare schemes like Ayushman Yojana and gain access to clean drinking water,” he said.
BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli, Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Bedi, Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala, and Media Adviser to the Chief Minister Rajeev Jaitly were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister lauded senior leadership for working as an efficient organisational force. Saini credited PM for the win.
He said the people of Delhi had now liberated themselves from a leader who misled them with lies.
Taking a dig at former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Saini said Kejriwal made false promises and painted an illusion of development but did nothing for the people.
“He repeatedly promised to clean the Yamuna by 2025, but when he failed to deliver, he resorted to making false accusations against Haryana, claiming that poison was being mixed into the river. The people of Delhi have responded to his deceitful promises by voting him out of power,” said Saini.
Just like in Delhi, the people of Punjab will soon oust the ‘Aap-da’ party from power, he said.
He also took a jibe at Kejriwal for promising Paris like roads but giving the national capital rutted roads.
