Liquor contractor, farmer killed in Sonepat dist

A liquor contractor was stabbed to death in Bhigan village while a farmer was killed in Bohla village in Sonepat district on Friday night.

The deceased have been identified as Ankit (34) of Bhigan village and Bhagwan Dev (53) of Bohla village.

Sanjay of Bhigan village in his complaint to the Murthal police said that his nephew Ankit had a partner, Rohit, at a liquor shop in Malikpur village. He said during an argument, Rohit stabbed his nephew. He took his nephew to the Civil Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

In another case, Jasmer of Bohla village told the Mohana police his elder brother Bhagwan Dev was assaulted with a lathi by their neighbour Kaptan. When he took him to BPS Government Medical College at Khanpur Kalan, doctors declared him brought dead.
