Lt Gen MJS Kahlon, AVSM, on Friday assumed the command of the Kharga Corps from Lt Gen AS Kler, VSM. The new General Officer Commanding laid a wreath at Vijay Smarak to honour martyrs.
In his distinguished military career spanning 36 years, Lieutenant General Kahlon has held important command and staff appointments in peace, field and active counter insurgency environment.
The officer possesses vast operational experience. Lt Gen AS Kler, VSM, conveyed his best wishes to Lt Gen MJS Kahlon.
