Highlighting the objective of the programme, Principal Dr Upasana Ahuja said that increasing competition in the education sector has made it essential to maintain positive thinking, self-discipline and a balanced, energetic lifestyle to ensure the physical and mental well-being of both teachers and students.

Chief Guest and keynote speaker Chandra Shekhar, a trainer with the Heartfulness Institute, said education is not merely a means of acquiring knowledge but the foundation for the holistic development of an individual. He said teachers who integrate meditation into their teaching practices can significantly improve their concentration, memory, self-confidence and emotional balance.

He added that yoga and pranayama are effective ways to relieve stress and mental pressure in today’s fast-paced world. He said every teacher should make these practices an integral part of daily life.
