The incident took place in Sector 85, Faridabad.

Faridabad, December 29

A 30-year-old man was burnt alive after his car caught fire in Sector 85 here this afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Suresh Kumar, a resident of Sector 29.

A passerby said the man could not get out of the car and was burnt alive. “Although the police reached the spot soon after getting the information, the car had been reduced to ashes,” said Suraj Bhan, a local resident.

Prima facie, the police are suspecting that a leak in the CNG cylinder fitted in the car led to the fire. — TNS
