Man found dead near NH-44

A 34-year-old man, who went missing on Wednesday evening, was found dead in the fields near Taraori on NH-44.

The deceased has been identified as Amandeep Singh, a resident of Nilokheri. He was working in a pharmaceutical company in Karnal.

The deceased’s family has alleged that Amandeep was murdered as his body bore injury marks.

The family said he left office for home at around 7.30 pm on Wednesday, but did not return home, adding that he did not have enmity with anyone.

A case has been registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
