Mohali, June 10

A 35-year-old man was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his house in Gholumajra near Lalru on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Navbrijesh Singh, the police said.

The police were informed about the incident by Kewal Singh, husband of the ward councillor. The police said the body appeared to be two to three days old. A case has been registered at the Lalru police station.

The police said Navbrijesh had married twice and had two children from the first marriage. He was not having cordial relations with his parents as well as the in-laws and used to live alone. — TNS
