Medical assistant falls to death

A 21-year-old medical assistant, Julie from Bihar, died yesterday after falling from the seventh floor of a building in Bestech Park View Spa, Sector 67, on December 1. She had been assisting an elderly couple when the incident occurred. Julie was critically injured and admitted to hospital, where she later died. The police found no suicide note and her family has not filed a complaint. Investigations are underway by the Sector 65 police, as confirmed by ASI Suresh Kumar.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
