Haryana CLP passes resolution allowing Sonia Gandhi to choose leader

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Congress Legislature Party on Friday passed a resolution which authorized Congress president Sonia Gandhi to name the CLP leader.

The Haryana Congress Legislature Party on Friday passed a resolution which authorized Congress president Sonia Gandhi to name the CLP leader.
 
HPCC president Kumari Selja said that a one-line resolution had been passed which authorized Congress president Sonia Gandhi to name the leader. 
 
Central observer Madhusudan Mistry said that he had talked to "all the MLAs individually" and would submit his report to Sonia Gandhi on Friday.
 
Apart from Selja, state in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad and former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda were also present at the meeting, held at the Congress Bhawan in sector 9 here.
