Mewat man offers Rs 2 crore for slitting Nupur Sharma tongue, police launch probe

Tension has erupted in Mewat after a video went viral showing a man declaring a reward of Rs 2 crore for slitting the tongue of now suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma.

The video shows a man speaking to a youtuber offering reward on behalf of entire Mewat.

"Get her tongue and take Rs 2 crore. Do it and take the money right now," the man is seen saying pompously.  

"The matter has reached us. We are investigating to identify the accused. We appeal to the people to not spread such videos and communal content," said Varun Singla, SP, Nuh.

Nuh police has pressed its crime units into action to prevent any communal tension.
