Mining firm booked for altering Yamuna river flow



Yamunanagar: The police have registered a case against a mining company for allegedly trying to alter the natural flow of the Yamuna to undertake mining activities in MT Karhera village of Yamunanagar district. Some mining contractors build bundhs and diversions to lift sand from the riverbed, violating the directions issued by the NGT.
