Miscreants injure driver, steal car

Three armed gangsters stole a Creta car after firing at the car driver on National Highway-44 (GT Road) near Murthal on Thursday.

Rajinder Bali, the driver, of Guru Nanakpura in Yamunanagar was seriously injured in the incident. He was brought to the local Civil Hospital and was referred to the PGIMS, Rohtak, after preliminary treatment.

Kuldeep Singh, investigating officer, said a case of attempt to murder and loot had been registered at the Murthal police station against the accused, who was yet to be identified. —OC
