Money used to woo voters: HDF

Ambala, January 1

Haryana Democratic Front (HDF) founder Nirmal Singh today alleged that money was used to woo voters in the recent elections to municipal bodies in the state.

He said,“The voters were misled and offered money. Though the section of the Mayor and councillors has been done, senior deputy mayor and deputy mayor are yet to be elected.”

“Five of our candidates lost the elections by a narrow margin. We will contest the upcoming Ambala Municipal Council (Sadar Zone) elections and the zila parishad and panchayat elections, and give a tough fight to the Haryana Jan Chetna Party,” he added. — TNS
