Moneylender thrashes auto driver in Bahadurgarh, bites off ear

An auto driver, identified as Vishal, was mercilessly beaten up allegedly by a moneylender in Bahadurgarh following a dispute involving borrowed money and interest rate.

The accused even bit off part of his ear. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the accused and his mother allegedly continued to assault Vishal outside a trauma centre, kicking and punching him. As his condition worsened, the victim was given medical treatment and later referred to the PGI- Rohtak for further care.

Vishal earns his livelihood by driving an auto in Bahadurgarh and lives in a rented house with his family. It is reported that he had already repaid much more than the amount he had borrowed, yet the accused continued to pressurise him for more

payments.

The victim alleged that he was trapped in a cycle of usury and was being continuously harassed.
